Ug, feelin' sick...

Finished work today...no more work, no more monay...oh well...

Not really feelin' all that well, possibly because of the past few workout days, or more probably the fact that I only got 3 hrs of sleep last night after all that activity...that's not good...

Either way, no hapkido for me tonight...was kinda looking forward and everything...

Anyways, I should really go and take a nap (for about 14 hrs)...

Until next time, I guess...

AWESOMENESS, but me so lazy...

Well then, so much happened in the past few days...and yet, I'm just so terribly lazy to blog...therefore, reverse chronology is in order...

Today, Tues Aug 30, started off kinda dull. Alls I did all day was watch some tennis, drive my sister & friend to thompson, and played computer. Plus, it was raining fairly heavily, so I did not feel like going w/ Kris to visit Rob in front of the library (and Rob's picture was in the freakin' paper today!! AWESOMENESS!!! Rob's pic in Business section of Vancouver Sun, 'cause of contest)...anyways, not visiting Rob kinda got me into a downer mood...so, it's a good thing that freakin' Rock Climbing was planned for tonight! And man, that was a blast, as usual...

This time around, there were tons of people (say over 15), and man did the time ever fly...rock climbed a bunch, and man that was so awesome...in fact, it was WAY better than last time, 'cause now I wasn't in freakin' agony the entire time! Wooo!!

Hmmm, lets see who was all there...there was Me, Mohsin, Reuben, Chui, Nate, Mark, Kyle, Vikki, Emily, Bernard, Sheena, Patrick (Sheena's 8 yr old bro! Crazy awesome climber...), Mai, Agatha, Jacob, Jason, and Sharon (?? Don't quite remember...). Yeah, tons of people, but AWESOME!!!

Afterwards we did the BP thing, hung out, etc etc...fun times for all and what not...good food, good laughs, even more awesomeness!!

And that was my Tuesday...

On Monday, I went to freakin' UBC and got my Card and U-PASS!! Wooooo, free transportation!! Heheh...so yeah, Alan came along w/ me, showed me around UBC for a bit, then we went to the beach...

Now, Monday had some crazy weather...at first, in the morning, it was pouring like crazy, and when I left the house near noon, it was still fairly cloudy and gloomy; therefore, jeans. However, by the time I was at the beach, around 3ish, it was amazingly sunny and blazing hot. So, we decided to throw the disc around, lol...Needless to say, after about half an hour, I was really starting to feel it, esp. w/o a source for agua...

After the beach, we decided to head off downtown, walk around the place and whatever...so, I went past that stretch of Granville again, seeing just how changed it really was...and man, it's changed soooo much...no more are the likes of the Rock Shop, nor Cheap Thrills...I mean, now where am I gonna get my green/blue hair dye from??? Boutiques?? Alls they got are the dinky punky colour, or worse...I miss my manic panic...but I digress...

After hanging around downtown a bit, we went to Tom Lee and fiddled w/ the guitars, then as that got boring (or rather, when I realized I was still dying of thirst), we ended up going to Burger King, with Alan getting the cheapo $2 burger & fries. Needless to say, we got this with glasses of water...not nearly enough water, but oh well...(killer later...)

So, after burger king, as well as some more wanderings (incl. going to the Art Gallery / Robson Square, passing the Cuban prisoners protest thingy), we decided to head off to Richmond, to some crazy bubble tea experiences!

Well, other places were closed at the time, around 5-6ish, so we went into that bubble tea place that used to be Uncle Willy's...goodness there, even if it was $5...but man, I gots me some mint ovaltine...deliciousness, indeed!

So, after we filled ourselves on beverage and tapioca, we headed off to Rush to play some old school fighting games...Alan, being the better of the two of us, crushed me handily in all but one battle...but fun times, indeed!

Well, by this time, it was already about 7:10, so Alan went back home in vancouver, and I ran to Hapkido. Yes, I really mean RAN. I didn't wanna be late once again...however, the problem w/ running is that it's tiring as heck, esp. if you were walking all day, esp. if you never had enough water...and esp. if you're going to freakin' Hapkido!! Not to mention that he freakin' pushed that class quite a bit...however, later on it was quite cool, learning new joint locks and takedowns etc...but man, did that ever HURT!! I think this was the first class where I was in any actual pain, at least inflicted by others...pretty freakin' awesome, joint locks are!!

After Hapkido was the semi-obligatory Danny's market run...just went the slushy route this time though, pretty good, plus half the price of a screamer, lol...

And that was my Monday...

On Sunday, it was pretty crazy. Well, I realized afterwards that it was pretty crazy, at least. So, what did I do? I freakin' went to netaholics and played Warcraft III for nearly 8 hours, that's what!!! Me, Alan, Kris, Rob, and Clinton all played Warcraft III, me and Alan right around noon ('cause I wanted to get the most outta my $5), then Kris Rob and Clinton came, but it was busy as heck, so Rob stayed and waited while Kris and Clinton

I did realize one thing from that day though...man, I suck at Warcraft III...no, worse than that, I'm HORRIBLE!!! I think I'm just not good at RTS's in general, but man it was never so apparent as it was that day...I know I've never wanted to be anything more than average, hence why Doug is my freakin' hero, but man, it sucks when you're less than mediocre...I could probably improve quite a bit, and I probably will after Kris gives me a burned copy of the game, but in the meantime, dang I stink...I mean, I'm consistently at a lower level, lowest in points, and always the first castle to get destroyed...but I say, oh well, playing w/ friends is still fun, heheh...

Anyways, after the marathon gaming, we all went to White Spot afterwards for fooding...and oh man, that was fun times to the extreme!!! I mean, with the whole Kris ordering a Chocolate Blueberry Cappuccino milkshake to the call for the waitress by Rob (YO!!!), that was quite awesome...

And that was my Sunday...

Anyways, the past couple days made me glad that I wasn't working during this time...I mean, it was so freakin' relaxing, I can't believe how different the summer feels without working...that being said, I'm so glad that I'm working tomorrow, 'cause I'm really starting to feel the pressure of not having enough money during the year...I mean, I wanted to buy an mp3 player, plus both my sisters expensive presents (i.e. dvd sets & own mp3 player), but I don't know if I can actually do that anymore...boo, no monay...

Hmmm, I am working tomorrow...in less than 6 hours...how wonderful, time to go to sleep...stupid me and my having to write down every single awesome day that goes by, heheh...

Until next time, I guess...

Awesomest Website

So yeah, this website is like cool, and stuff...especially the cartoons. Yup.

Anyways...so how was my week, and stuff?? Uh...um...whatever, and stuff...yeah...

Well, next week I gots some work, 'cause I needs me the mon-ay...and stuff.

LOL, enough w/ the awesomeness of OddTodd...I swear, if I don't find myself some motivation, this'll so be me in 10 yrs...

Until next time, I guess...

Hodge-Podge (or something like it...)

First off, oh man Heroes mania is soooo awesome...and now there's a freakin' OPEN BETA!!! THAT'S FREAKIN' INCREDIBLE!!! Man, I gotta get in...if not, then someone else that I know who'd be willing to break bend the NDA a little and let me have a copy, heheh...just check out Celestial Heavens, guys...

Anyways, in non-Heroes news, this week has been a little hectic, and yet not...

First off, sunday was quite quite awesome, with going out to eat at Hon's w/ Kris & Rob, then to Netaholics for some Footmen Frenzy (man, Warcraft III's freakin' INCREDIBLE!!! Woo for rpg maps!), then to crazy bubble tea (holy crap, I didn't know that Agar-Agar is Grass Jelly! Dang, that was delicious!!!), then finally a little pool to end off the kickass day...

Then, I ended up staying up super late on the comp again, only getting 2 hours of sleep...and thus, the next day was quite intriguing...

First off, when I woke up after 2 hrs, I felt totally fine. In fact, I strangely didn't feel sleepy at all, which was kinda unnerving...anyways, I got through work pretty fine, wasn't terribly sleepy (save a couple near-droops here and there), and went home. Now, I wasn't expecting to do anything that night, so I went on the comp early, watched some tv, etc etc, expecting to go to sleep at 8 or 9...so, around that time I was half drifting off, when I gots me a phone call saying that Jamieson Emily etc are watching a movie at Emily's place. I thought AWESOME, I GETS TA DO SOMETHING TONIGHT! But you see, I thought it was Rob on the phone, since the phoner said he "just got off" and I assumed from work...and the phoner said that he'll pick me up in a bit. So, a bit later, phones again says he's outside. Now, I'm fully expecting Rob to be in his car. However, I see a 240 Nissan instead. Now, I'm thinking "what, Mohsin let Rob drive his car?? No, wait, Mohsin's just driving us, that's cool." However, as I get closer, I realize that Rob is nowhere in site. WHAT THE HECK?!?! I realize then that it was Mohsin who phoned, and asked me to come, and that he'd pick me up. UNNERVING...but cool, nonetheless.

Anyways, went to Emily's, watched Sin City, and oh my goodness that is one kickass movie...just love the whole atmosphere of it. Yeah, it was quite brutal and gory, but since it was in the comic graphic novel style, it seemed kinda reasonable. One of the first movies in quite a while that lived up to the hype of everyone's acclaims. All in all, I'd say that this was an Awesome movie, in accordance to the Sucks/Okay/Awesome scale that I shall now rate movies on (Woooo, my own freakin' ratings scale! It's like those thumb things, but better!).

So, I got home much earlier than anticipated (around midnight), and only stayed up for an hour or so longer, which is quite surpising for me, and yet fairly bad since I only got like 4 hrs of sleep that night.

Tuesday was a disappointment...work was work, home was absolutely boring, with absolutely nothing to do. I believe this carried into the next day, since I woke up at 7:17am. I start work at 7:30.

I hate being late...and I was late today. Booo...it ended up being okay I guess, as they were merely slightly annoyed instead of angry or whatever, and it's not like I was particularly needed or anything. I don't see why 2 people need to be on the cutters...

Anyways, the day went on, work ended, and I was told that Thursday was a day off, since no fish. WOOOO!!! So I'm going off to Kris' place tomorrow, awesomeness indeed...I'm fully expecting a day full of video game goodness with a splash of anime mania...wooo!!! Plus, I'm back friday, and most assuredly next week (I hope), so it's not like my money prospects are lowered because of it...

So, after work I lazed about at home for a bit, then ended up going to Hapkido for the first time in quite a while. And man, I soooo missed going there! I love actually being active! But man, I was really feeling it there, not stretching or cardio for the past 2/3 weeks...at least my shoulder/side etc wasn't really hurting today...although, there's still a sharp pain whenever I sneeze

But I digress...back to Hapkido, I must now remember 7 joint locks and 8 one-steps. This was quite nice today, it was exactly what I was wanting to learn...AWESOME!!!

Plus, afterwards me and Reuben gots some Dairy Queen goodness, and we gots ta talking...we ended up talking about music and singing and stuff, and man did it ever make me wanna be in a band again...I sooo wanna sing in front of a band again, if not actually playing an instrument in the band...

Anyways, got home, lazed around even more, ate my Sinagang, finished my blizzard, and watched some more Alienated...

Oh yeah!!! That's what I did Tuesday night!!! I watched Alienated!!! Oh my goodness, that is such an awesome tv show...think of it as a comedy in the same vein as Curb Your Enthusiam and Arrested Development, but instead it's about a family who's been abducted by aliens. IT'S ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!! Well, as a slight summary a.k.a. a slight ***SPOILER***, the aliens made the dad's sperm glow orange, got the mom pregnant with an alien baby, made grampa sex crazy (but he thinks his family is all crazy about that alien garbage), the son now has a scent that makes women go crazy for him, so he chooses his hot english teacher, and the daughter's gay but the aliens made her go boy crazy and gave a mondo zit to make guys go crazy, but then she comes out and the zit goes away...and oh yeah, GEORGE FREAKIN' TAKAI MADE A CAMEO!!! "Hey, it's George Takai! SULU!!! SULU!!!" Hahaha, nerd mobs are hilarious...

Oh man, and I forgot the best part! Since the aliens ***SPOILER*** made his dad lose his job, he decided to do what he truly wants, which is become a professional musician! Which is awesome, 'cause he's actually a fairly good guitar player! "Alien man...Alien man....AAA-lian maaaaannnn...." LOL!!! I gotta find me this tab/mp3!!!

Phew...yeah, a little Alienated crazy right there...End of spoilers, I swear...

Man, I just realized that I've only started watching season 2...I gotta gets me the whole freakin' show!!! Torrent searching, I go!!!

(Dang, this post really was a mess...maybe I should just go to bed...P-SHAW!!!)

Until next time, I guess...

Beat the Alpha!!!

Oh man, I just spent the past 6 hours playing and beating the Heroes V Alpha scenario...all in all, it was amazingly, beautifully, awesomely rewarding...it sure as hell would've been a lot better if I didn't have to wait so damn long during battles, and having to time my mouse movements exactly lest it jerk across the screen and thus eat up more time trying to jerk it back to place...

But man, AWESOME!!! SOOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!

Well then, it seems that I have gone Heroes crazy over the past few days...now that I beat it, I'll probably stop for a while...at least, until my sis gets her computer, then I'll probably spend loads of time on the Alpha there...

Anyways, I just realized something pretty strange...this saturday night, I spent hours upon hours playing Heroes, the most nostalgic amazing game I've ever played (as a series, btw, not just alpha), and I thoroughly enjoyed myself...last saturday night, I stayed up all night with my friends, first off with red robins in metrotown, then with midnight bike ride...

I realize now that I prefer the latter...re-extroverted, indeed...

Until next time, I guess...

Heroes V Alpha!!! ...

Holy crap, the alpha's freakin awesome...although, I do have a slight problem...

MY COMPUTER'S A FREAKIN' PIECE OF MANURE!!!

I'm getting like 1 fps, if that, thus making the game rather unplayable...well, unplayable to most, but I still played it for hours...in fact, after I blog I'll probably play it some more, lol...

But man, I feel like that guy in the twilight zone, the bookworm who wanted everyone to leave him alone, and when everyone in the world died and all he had left were his books (his dream come true), his reading glasses broke...man, I'm sooo close, and yet sooo far...stupid freakin' computer! Making me unable to do what I desire so!

Anyways, enough griping, and more praises to the awesomeness of Heroes V!!!

I mean, we gots H2 atmosphere, H3 gameplay, and H4 skilltrees & spells...I mean, it's the absolute best of everything!!! A masterpiece in the making!!! I mean, the alpha's already over a year old, and we've got another 9+ months of development.....NIIIIIICE!!!

[okay, so this is mainly an expanded posting of my comment on Gautam's blog...so sue me!]

Until the next time, I guess..

WHOA!!!

Holy crap...Gautam, you're my Hero! ...of Might and Magic V!!! Wooo!!!

Okay, so that was corny...but man, currently downloading the freakin' leaked alpha...sweeeeeet!!!!

Stupid 10+ hr wait...I wants ta play now!!!

Anyways, until next time, I guess...

Man, I haven't posted in forever...crazy work week, pretty contrasting from last week...

My goodness, it's already the 19th...summer's almost over...where the heck did August go?! (still haven't phoned student loans back, heh...)

Anyways, I switched over from days to nights this week, which meant that I actually slept in for the first time in what seems like forever, but it also means that my sleep schedule is all messed up. For example, it is now 7am friday morning, but I got home at about quarter to 5, read the paper, showered, and went on the comp...to me, it's sleepy time...

Not to mention my complete lack of non-work socialization, hence the contrasting of last week...oh well, it's all good, since we're going back to one shift on monday, so I can actually have my nights semi-free again...

Oh, and on another note, I did see Susanne yesterday...I was all estatic, 'cause I wasn't expecting to see her again this year...however, I didn't really get a chance to talk to her, and thusly failed to get any sort of contact of hers...and I didn't see her again tonight, which made me feel kinda bummed out...another potential lost, I guess...except, this one kinda stings a little more, since I thought that there was a good chance that she would have reciprocated...

Oh well, nothing much else I can do about it...I was thinking of leaving her a note on her punchcard thing w/ my contact, but I thought that'd be kinda weird, esp. if I never hear from her again...I'm hoping that I'll either see her again tonight, or perhaps that she's still working come monday, but somehow I doubt things would go so nicely...

Anyways, enough of this boring work nonsense, and onto the awesomeness of VROOM!!!

It's been a while since I've got this, and I've already alt. blogged it (so technically a reposting), but here it is again:

Once again, Vroom has shown why they are the most awesomest band EVER...this time, actually, is because their lead singer, John Johnson, had his own cd out (as The Wilderness), and man that song off the net is incredibly, fantastically, hauntingly beautiful...a little less rocky and a little more artsy than Vroom's music, but beautiful nonetheless...

Here's the link --> "The Wilderness - The Staring Contest"

Hauntingly beautiful, indeed...

Anyways, Vroom is quite awesome...earlier stuff is punky, then they go off in an indie rock / emo-ish type of sound, but man they are by far my favourite band of all time...and yes, that song of mine "Dumb Like That" is by Vroom (if you're wondering why you've heard of this band before, lol...)

Well then, there's nothing much left to say but this:

Chicken (a round)

C - That's the way it begins, and
H - That's the next letter i-in,
I - You're in the middle of the word, and
C - You've already heard, and
K - Now you're nearing the end, and
E - Now you're rounding the bend
C-H-I-C-K-E-N
Oh, that's the way you spell *clap clap* chicken!

Oh, Rufus Rafus Johnson Brown
Oh, what'cha gonna do when the rain comes down?
What'cha gonna do?
An' what'cha gonna say?
'Cause you can't pay the rent 'til the rain goes away,
Oh, you know, an' I know, an' everybody knows
That you can't pay the rent if you ain't got the dough.
Rufus Rafus Johnson Brown, Oh
What'cha gonna do when the rain comes down?

Until next time, I guess...

Work work...work?

Well then, I gets to sleep in tomorrow! Wooo!! But why, you ask? Well, I'm a gonna be workin' the afternoon shift! Meaning, instead of waking up early and starting at 7:30am, I now start at 4:30pm and I get to sleep in! Yeah!! And as a plus, I gets me some overtime as well...however, overtime does mean I'll hafta stay past 1 or 1:30am...ouch...but hey, money is money! Although, missing hapkido is gonna be a bummer, but since my shoulder's still bugging me, 'tis alright...anyways, workin' late aint so bad, since Rob'll be able to drive me home...

Anyways, enough of my work banter, and more about the girl at my work banter...

Or, to be more precise, the lack-of-girl at my work. You see, since the number of lines dropped from 5 to 2-3, this girl has not gone to work at the fish plant. It's been nearly a week now, actually...the chances of seeing her again this year seems to be getting smaller and smaller. This sucks. And it's not like I have any regrets, 'cause I did end up talkin to her, and the transition from potential gf to gf was going at a phenominally perfect rate (with the last time I saw her being the "casual physical contact" stage i.e. brush on the elbow kinda thing). But since I haven't seen her in about a week, it's kinda derailed the possibility of anything more...again, this sucks. Just when things seem to be going my way...

But enough lingering on things I cannot control. If she comes back to work again, I won't hesitate to ask for a #/e-mail...

Anyways, onto other news...

As of yesterday, I have finally completed reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Good book, as usual...however, I do have some complaints about it...

***POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT***

Well, the plot did seem kinda predictable, and they kinda spelled out the ending right from the get-go (although it did keep you guessing 'til the climax...). I mean, it's like Harry can never have an incorrect thought or something, he's never wrong about the important stuff! That kinda ticked me off...throughout the whole book, I was hoping that Harry had become a paranoid schizophrenic or something interesting like that...

Point of contention #2: why the hell did the actual story take so friggin long to start?! I mean, the first 10 chapters seem to be a recap of the other freakin' books! To me, it didn't start to get interesting 'til about 400+ pages in...most annoying. However, once the ball was rolling, I finished it that very day/night. Interesting stuff, indeed...

One last thing about the predictability of this book...Did anybody guess wrong about who the Half-Blood Prince was?? I mean, to me it was obvious right from the start...advanced potions book, eh? Hmmmm...who could it be?!

But enough ripping apart of this book. In the end, I did enjoy reading it, and it was quite interesting. All in all, slow start, kinda predictable, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Final note - I wasn't able to read 200 pages a session this time around, so perhaps this is why it felt so slow to me...I swear, Harry Potter isn't Harry Potter unless you finish the book within a few days...

Perhaps I shall now start on that freakin' Catch 22 that I've been postponing for the past few months, heheh...

Until next time, I guess...

--> As told through the mind of an introverted extrovert.

p.s. - PHONE BACK STUDENT LOAN PEOPLE!!! (complicated situation w/ thinking I was outta school, me being lazy, etc etc...stupid possible bad credit)

Linguistics!

Well, I'm officially taking linguistics now...man, I hope I know what I'm getting myself into, it being the extra class and all...

So, why take linguistics? Well, I've always seemed to have a natural aversion to learning languages, and as such I haven't learned squat in the french/spanish classes I took in high school...sure, I ended up with decent to superb grades, but I take these classes like I take math: learn the formulas (i.e. verbs etc), then cram cram cram! This is the main reason why I didn't end up taking some cool language at ubc, like Swedish or Japanese or German...

Anyways, I'm hoping that taking linguistics would make me be able to actually learn new languages...or, at the very least, give me some insight into languages in general (which I find completely enrapturing, since I don't get non-english languages at all, heheh...)

Besides, Linguistics seems easy enough, and GPA boosters are always nice, hehe...

Until next time, I guess...

Weekend w/ no work?? Boo...oh wait, WOOOO!!!

Wow, I can't believe what a freakin' amazing weekend I had...

First off, friday night hanging out w/ reuben, mark, & mark was fun, first off with the foosball at steveston community centre, then off to rush...probably more, but 'tis a blur a few days afterwards...didn't blog 'bout this while bored yesterday, heh, that's kinda funny...

Anyways, saturday was freakin' amazing too, bar the laziness of the wasted afternoon...first off, I had to pick up my mom at a friends place in vancouver, drove her home, then I ended up picking up Krystle, then Alan, then Valen to go to Red Robins (meaning, I went from Richmond to East Van back to Richmond back to East Van to UBC and finally to Burnaby, which took a good 2+ hours of solid driving, lol...)

So we ate at Red Robins, had a good time, then we went to the fountain area in front of the Bay in metro town and hung out for a while...it was pretty nice, just hanging around talkin' it up w/ those guys...

So after that, I drove the girls home, then Alan and I went back to my place to pick up my bike, for we then went off for some MIDNIGHT BIKE RIDING!!! Oh my goodness, that was so awesome!!! It was me, Chui, Reuben, Nate, and Alan biking around richmond in the middle of the night...first off w/ the backstreets onto williams, then along the dyke, then stopping off at the skate park for a bit and chatting it up, then Chui was hungry so we went to Wendy's on 3 rd, then down granville and railway and back to Steveston community centre where we started it all...oh man, I can't even begin to describe the awesomeness of the Midnight Bike Ride...

Anyways, we got back at about quarter to 4, so we all went our separate ways...meaning, I had to drive Alan back to UBC, and man that was an adventure in itself...after dropping off my bike at home, I drove alls the way to UBC. Now, going there wasn't much of a big deal, 'cause I was still rushed from the adrenaline, and Alan was there for company, but man on the way back I was actually starting to nod off! Sometimes I closed my eyes for like 5 seconds, other times I started drifting, but after a couple realizations I openned all the windows, blasted the radio, etc, until I got home...craziness!! Anyways, I got back home around 4:45, went to bed around 5 am...

So, after a long and tiring day, how long did I sleep in 'til? 9 am, that's how long! Hahaha, I've been hyping myself up for watching Captain Planet on ch.28 for a while this week, so I HAD to wake up to watch it...and I must say, there was much editing to the episode, what with the no song in the beginning, and Kwame w/ the "I'll save him", stick his ring out, then cuts to the guy on a rock in the water grabbing the ladder...no "EARTH"?! Booo...but after that first disappointing 5 mins, it was all beautiful from there...plus, the song was at the end, WOOO!!! WE'RE THE PLANETEERS, YOU CAN BE ONE TOO!!! Wooooo, indeed...

Anyways, so I was planning on sleeping afterwards, but I just couldn't get back to bed...meaning, I watched some baseball, had a shower, read a few more chapters in Harry Potter (trodding along), until about 1:30 when I got ready to leave for All You Can Eat sushi w/ Rob Kris and Clinton...Daimaru was pretty awesome, but as usual I very much overstuffed myself...but delicious nonetheless!!

After sushi, we went to Future shop for a bit, kris bought stuff (as usual, heheh), then we went out to Rush, but since the comps were being used, we ended up going to netaholics...so we were playing Warcraft III for about 2 or more hours, and I must admit at first it was kinda dull, since my Hero that I picked wasn't the greatest and I was kinda getting bored...but afterwards, when playing that crazy map with King Leoric etc Heroes, man that was awesomeness!!! Soo much fun...

So afterwards, I dropped Kris at the bus stop, Rob at his car, and Clinton at home, then I went home myself, showered up, relaxed and watched a few episodes of family guy before I went out once again, this time to Garry Point for a little "bonfire" type thingy (meaning Nate brought his propane grill to roast marshballows on, haha...). That was quite fun, hanging out w/ the "Kwantlen" crew...then, as many of the group scattered, the remainder decided on going off to Timmy Ho's in Ironwood, which turned out to be great for me, since I had to drive my sister home from flying wedge anyways...

So yeah, drove myself and my sis home a little past midnight, and now it's almost 1am, and I've got work the next day...aww man, work again, I certainly don't feel like going back anymore, booo...but oh well, money is money, heheh...

Man, this weekend with no work was certainly beautifully magnificent...and come to think of it, the perfect capper of an incredibly awesome week in general, what with the rock climbing, interphase + keiran's house, ong-bak at reubens (w/ goon & moe), then friday...wow, more than a week, looking back at last weekend and beyond...my goodness, re-extroverted / de-introverted, indeed!

Until next time, I guess...

--> As told from the mind of a de-introverted extrovert.

p.s. - Man, I ate soooo much food this weekend, it's not even funny...hopefully the biking helped me out a bit, heh...

So bored...

Lazy Saturday afternoon...didn't feel like going out w/ my sisters walkin' etc, didn't even feel like playing videogames...man, I'm so lethargic that I'm actually too lazy to get up and take a nap...

I so wanna do something, but not having a car at the moment kinda limits my options...well, it most likely limits my ambition more than anything...too lazy to call anyone up...msn, that's okay, but phone? That requires pushing numbers and using my voicebox...too much effort...

Man, I seem too lazy to do anything, and yet not lazy enough to rant on my blog...

Hopefully my parents will get back soon and I can get the car, thus making me be able to do things / make me have enough drive to actually wanna do something...

Heheh, unintention pun right there, "drive"...heheheh, I crack myself up...

Wow, maybe I should go take a nap...I am kinda out of it at the moment...

Well enough of this wallowing in my lethargicism (if that truly is a word), and off to perhaps do something else of equal laziness...

Until next time, I guess...

~> [1 min. later] Wow, my dad just got home, meaning I can actually go out and do something! I mean, potentially, at least, lol...anyways, off I go, hopefully with a renewed sense of vigor!!! CAR!!! Heh...nope, ALLCAPS + "!!!" still doesn't make me feel any less lazy, heh...

Minor Clarifications

Well, it has come to my attention that I should expand and clarify that "one last thing" paragraph of the previous post. You see, there is much more backgroud to this than it might seem...

First off, this is not the first time this kinda thing happened to me...I mean, from the highschool Mini-Adam phase (as one example), to my Corporate Jesus Karmacanix / Nightshift days, the whole "c'mon, but you're so hot!" kinda thing happened a few times...and considering I really WAS short, fat, and ugly, I obviously didn't believe them...ah, the low-self-esteem-iness of it all...

So, you can hardly blame me that I felt uncomfortable after hearing those comments.

Now, as for the beautiful part, that was partially because that's who used to say it to me before (the quote/unquote "hot" girls), and partially because I was kinda reciprocating the "compliments", i.e. I'm hot, therefore you're beautiful...thought it'd be funny...

Or, no, wait, I mean because you ARE beautiful...yeah...*shifty eyes*

Anyways, I doubt you'll be reading this anytime soon, so this is all a moot point...

In other news, man it was a strange one at work today...and by strange, I mean crazy awesome! Well, to be more specific, I'm having more and more reason to believe that Susanne might actually be interested in me...I mean, with the whole "hey Justin" *touch my elbow*...*talk talk talk*..."well, I'll see you later" *touch my shoulder*. So I may be a little overanalytical, but I really REALLY think that this means something more...and man, I still find her eerily beautiful...

But, I don't even really know this girl...I guess that's what dating is for, but oh well...don't really wanna jump into anything too quickly, like last time...last time, *shudder*

Anyways, I'm starting to ramble, and I'm dead tired at the moment (didn't even go to hapkido, still "slightly sore"), so I should be gettin' off now...

Until next time, I guess...

Ouch, it hurts to breathe...

Right now, I'm in quite a bit of pain, my right side hurts like a female canine...typing's a chore...

Was considering not going to rock climbing today, since my side was already started to be sore, but that was only for a few seconds, 'cause I mean c'mon, me miss out on rock climbing?? Not very likely! And although I'm in considerable pain, it was sooooo worth it...

First off, I can't believe how good of a rock climber I am. I mean, I'm not terribly great or anything, but I did seem to show up most of the group (or so I was told, heh...). Heheh, I rocked it during the first hour and a bit, finishing everything with relative ease, I guess...I don't know, I admit it's a pretty good feeling when I was better than most of the at least 6" taller guys...although, with the racing at the end, I was really starting to feel it, and I did flub up my footing a few times, and subsequently lost to Nate and Kyle...

Wait a sec, that sounds like I'm giving excuses...those guys deserved those wins...nm...

Anyways, I think I pushed myself too hard right at the end, 'cause that's when it really started to kill...when you can't take a deep breath without sharp stabbing pains in your side, it's pretty bad...although, I do think I managed to keep myself from expressing said pain during BP afterwards...man, it hurt to laugh, but I just couldn't stop for a while there..."BLEAHHEHA!!! ...did it work??"

And one last thing: I find it quite uncomfortable when beautiful women comment on my "hotness", especially since I know that I have a lack thereof...I mean, yes, it's a nice gesture, but to me it feels more like pity compliments...just kinda uncomfortable.

Anyways, enough of this typing through the pain garbage, time to sleep and hopefully be able to work tomorrow...man, I hope I don't have a hernia or something, heheh...

Until next time, I guess...

--> As told through the mind of an apparently re-extroverted introverted extrovert.

[Next Day Update - Well, it seems like it was just a pulled muscle, previously strained then made worse w/ rock climbing...however, today I woke up in less pain than before, then throughout the day I was feelin' better and better...even felt good enough to mosh it up a bit w/ Kieran, which is hilarious 'cause I ended up scraping my elbow quite nicely on the pavement (which surprisingly didn't hurt). Anyways, I'm ralblin' at 1 in the mornin, w/ work the next day...oh well, 2 (or 3?) cokes at Kieran's place ain't helpin much...

...in other news, I've been reading some of my old blog postings from January, and man so much time has passed since then. Funny how I didn't press further into my "------- type" comments, but man it's amazing how much nostalgia can occur in just a few short months...wow, are these the best days of my life??]

Girl, you say??

Wow, I barely blog anymore...no time + laziness is a bad combo...

Well, to recap the week, wed. was awesome w/ the hapkido and mark's bday...staying 'til 3am when working at 6am the next day is always "awesome"...uh, thursday I slept from 6 to 11:30 when I got home from work, then I couldn't fall asleep 'til like 4ish (annoying)...friday I stayed right up 'til sunset...sat. I went w/ Kris and Rob all afternoon, w/ Kris buying his xbox etc, then we went to interphase (man, they're freakin' awesome...), moshing was sweet as per usual, afterparty was pretty good too at Jamieson's place...then sunday, today, I worked once again. Wooooo, double time!

Anyways, onto the meat of what I wanted to blog about: A girl.

Yes, a girl. From work. But first I shall start with the background...

You see, at my work, during herring season (may, june), there really wasn't any girls at all. Mostly elderly chinese women, a.k.a. the canning ladies. No eye candy there. But then, once salmon season started up, the Quality Assurance people (i.e. QA's) started working, which besides Clinton and this other guy, are all young attractive females. For some odd reason, heh. Anyways, most were typical "hot" girls, a.k.a. not terribly attractive to me, but some were kinda cute, thus making my job a little less than unbearable. Then, about two weeks ago, this girl started working w/ the canning ladies, on the lines where the cut fish go to get canned...man oh man, long story short, she pretty much made my job a heck of a lot easier.

I cannot begin to explain how incredibly beautiful I find this girl. I mean, I usually try not to stare at beautiful women, but she's just so hauntingly beautiful that I can't help but to let my gaze linger a few moments longer...I can't quite explain it, but man oh man, she's beyond beautiful to me...

Anyways, looks definately aren't everything, but since we're working pretty much all the times we see each other, it's not like we could actually strike up a conversation. The only other time I've really talked to her (besides the whole "when're we getting off today? / uh, I think at 4") was last monday when the line broke down for quite a while. Nothing else to do, so we talked about why the line wasn't moving, small stuff like that. Nothing terribly exciting, except for the fact that I was actually starting to talk to what I'd consider as one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen in my life, so I guess yeah it was kinda exciting to me, lol...

And that's the background...

So what's this all leading up to? Well, today the line broke down again for quite a while, and luckily she was working the same line as me (luck = me always trying to choose the line where she's workin, hehe). For a while, everyone just stood around and such, 'cause we were still technically working and whatever, but after about 45 mins I decided to sit down on the step 'cause I was tired. This girl, after about 2 mins, then taps me on my knee asking me to move down so she could sit as well, "'cause I'm tired" as well...so there I was, sitting next to this incredible beauty, getting all flustered and half embarassed, not know what to do next, so after a couple minutes I couldn't take it and stood up...yes, stood up. I stretched a bit, calmed myself down, paced a few seconds, then sat back down next to her. This is where it gets better:

I then proceed to tap her on the shoulder, and ask what her name is. BREAKTHROUGH!!! Hehe...as in, me breaking outta my comfort zone kinda thing. Anyways, she then gives me this funny look, points to her apron thing w/ her name on it, and says "Susanne Chow". I kinda knew it was Susanne already, since it was written on her apron, but I thought it'd be polite just to ask her directly. Instead I think I just looked kinda silly. Oh well. Anyways, she asks my name, I reply w/ a hearty "Justin", then we start talkin' it up, mostly just small stuff and what not...how we got the job there, how long it takes to get to work, etc...btw, she lives in vancouver, her mom works there, and she's 17. Oh yeah, that's right! The first question she says after asking my name is how old I was, and yes she was shocked to learn that I am 21 (she thought much younger, heh...), then she says she's 17. Once again, a 17/21 yr old situation for me...oh well, I don't mind I guess, hehe...

So what's the point of all this?? Wooooo, actually starting a conversation with a woman I find attractive! Wooooo!!! And it may just be me, but I think that there is a distinct possibility that she could have some of the same feelingness towards me! Woooo!!! Well, it may just be from my euphoria at the time, but man, thinking a girl could possibly like you is a great feeling...WOOOOO!!!

***

Well then, that was kinda long winded, but man it feels good to blog again...whoops, working in less than 8 hours, how nice...time for bed.

Until next time, I guess...

--> As told through the mind of an introverted extrovert.

p.s. - I kinda don't wanna sleep yet, 'tis not even midnight yet, hehe...so I thought I'd try to think of the reasons why I find her attractive. Well, she has these crazy beautiful brown eyes, and man brown eyed asians are beautiful...and her face is just so cute, not to mention her beautiful smile...and yes, the rest of her is quite nice also, although quite a bit skinnier than my previous endeavours (as if that's hard to do, hehe...no wait, that's mean, I take it back...). Her voice isn't as I imagined it would be, but still beautiful nonetheless. Well, that's enough prodding into my mind for one night, I say...

Man, what a week...

First off, I've gotta get to sleeping soon, since I've only had avg. 3 hrs / night rest for the past 3 nights, and I've got work tomorrow at 6, meaning I've gotta get up before 5...

Anyways, a quick summary:

Wed: Work, 11 hrs, then Hapkido
Thurs: Work, 12 hrs
Fri: Work, left early, RBF concert (awesomeness!), then to the end of Mike's B-day
Sat: Draft day, lounging, haning out w/ Reuben etc
Sun: Work, 10 hrs, then Shaylene's "party", then Andrew's BBQ/Poker/Burnout3
Mon: Work, 13 hrs, meaning pay = $12.50/hr x2 + 8 hrs stat = $400 in one day

Man, I'm tired...

Anyways, I could go on and on from these things, but I kinda would like to get more than 4 hrs of sleep tonight...loooooong day today...perhaps later I shall flesh the memorable things out...or not, we'll see...

Until next time, I guess...
