Nice...

Yesterday was fun...after I gave up on doing my application, that is...

First off, went with my sisters to the mall, used up a couple of hours...clothes to video games to music store, was fun...then we went to superstore, where I saw Roger working there (always awesome!), and apparently his more-than-potential is a Sevy, and more than that, I actually know her! That's just cool! She goes to the Richmond church (I go to Vancouver church), so I've seen her a few times...and come to think of it, from what I remember of Leah, they really do seem to make a good match! But as he said, it's a little complicated (more than just the usual Roger complications too), but I still wish him all the best. And to think, if he made the move 5 months ago when she was first interested, something would've happened...haha, he who hesitates is lost, indeed...

Anyways, after superstore, I was dropped off at Reubens, and man that concert was AWESOME! From the awesome musicality of it all, to the awesomeness of the covers (Sweaters! That was genious! ASSHOLE, Reuben you were amazing!), to the kickass encore, to the most awesomest part of all, THE MOSHING!!! YEAH!!! FINALLY MOSHED!!! Haven't done that since forever...but man, at first I was just making a fool of myself, jumping around like a maniac...I'm just glad as hell that Drew joined in, a few more minutes of my aloneness and I would've sat...but man, some actual moshing was underway! With the two-person crashing of drew and myself, to me bouncing off of Kieren (he was like a friggin tree out there!), and even Jake and Mark joined in on the awesomeness! YEAH!!! Too bad Nate was camera guy, though...I don't know, I think if he was out there, I probably would've been moshing to WAAAAY more songs than just that one...oh well! Oh yeah, and crazy awesome new hairdoo, too!

Then after the concert at Reubens, we all went over to Andrews for Andrewpalooza2, which I must say was fairly awesome too...it was quite hilarious, if I say so myself; the group pretty much split off into two groups, the drinkers and the non-drinkers. The drinkers decided to go off and play King Beer, being all rowdy and what not (as per normal party-like activities), while the non-drinkers went off to have a discussion about politics, philosophy, and religion...that was just awesome! Hahaha!

Anyways, as the party was winding down, Army Chris brought out his guitar and played for a while...he was actually starting to teach me a few things too, like strumming properly with a pick, and especially the cool fingering stuff...I don't know, at the party it was difficult as hell, but when I got home and tried it, after like 2 tries I got it down pat! That's just rediculous! I'm actually fingering decently now! CRAZY...

But yeah, that was the party...and I've gotta say, I wish I'd have gotten to know Andrew better before he leaves, he's a pretty awesome guy...
----
Church this morning...late, as usual, but still ended up playing congas...and man oh man, there was this cute little flip girl, Joyce, singing in front of me...very cute...wanted to talk to her in the break for offering, but didn't know what to say...oh well, hopefully I'll see her again sometime...(oh, and apparently Krystle's trying to make her come to our church more often...awesome!)

Anyways, I gotta go back and finish up my application before it's too late...however, when I saved it yesterday, it said that it was due on May 6th on the javascript popup, so I might have more time...hmmm, but on the actual website it still says May 1st...oh well, don't wanna risk it! Gotta do it now, I guess...

Argh, Renewed Pressure!

Oh man, I've slacked off so much on this, and now I'm stressing out! And I'm stressing after finals are over to boot! That's just annoying...

I've gotta do this extra application form thingy for UBC to go into Commerce, and I thought it'd be a sinch to do...therefore, I slacked off 'til now...however, there's like tons of things I've gotta do for it, write about my "unique qualities" etc...but worst of all, I need three references! I aint's got no references! That's freakin' me out! So far, all I've come up with are three people from my Church, but I don't know if those guys really count or what...BAH, STRESS STRESS STRESS!!!

Plus, I've gotta do my tax thing, and that's quite the hassle...just another aggrivation to compound my stress!

But at least I finally sent off the evites for NitsFest, I've been slacking on that one for days...oh, and of course there's the awesomeness of the concert tonight! Yeah, mosh away my stressfulness, oh yeah!!!

OH YEAH!!! How could I forget! I'VE GOTS MYSELF A JOB!!! HURRAH FOR ME!!! Oh man, I'm so looking forward to my non-wasteful summer...I'm assuming 'til monday, when the early morning labourings begin, haha...Oh right, I'm working at Oceans fisheries, packing fish and what not, along with Rob and Clinton (although the latter seems to want out of his job, haha...). It's supposedly quite hard, and I do have to go buy some rubber boots, so I'm not so sure how much I can enjoy this thing, but I just don't give a crap! Unwasteful summer, woo hoo!!! And besides, I'm getting over $12/hr here, AWESOMENESS INDEED!!!

Oh yes, awesomeness indeed...but for now, back to my stressors...*sigh*

Holy Crap!

It's not everyday that someone sends you a pic of her and her friends...topless...

Pretty disturbing, considering she's only 15...

*shudder*

BESTEST LONGEST DAY EVER!!!

Today was a LONG day...thusly necessitating a LONG blog entry!

Slept late last night, <4 hrs sleep, woke up at 8:30am-ish, showered, etc, then Nancy picked my sister and myself up at sometime past nine to meet up with everyone at Science World.

Met everyone at Science World at 10am, so it was me, Charissa, Nancy, David, Alan, Mark, and P-Dog (I think, didn't catch his real name...he decided not to stay w/ us anyways...only a small fraction of people invited were actually able to make it as well). So after some fiddling with parking, we went off to rollerblade on the seawall! Hurrah!

So we went all along the seawall, construction detours and all, for about an hour or so...David and Mark decided then to go back and wait for their friend Adam from Abbotsford (whom I've never met) so they blade back to science world...seeing that they're awesome bladers, they get back in no time, but Adam phones halfway through and says he's not going anymore! Haha! So they went back for no reason! Heheh...

Anyways, this is a good a time as any to talk about my rollerblading skills. Or rather, the lack thereof. I was definately the slowest one in the group (with the slight exception being my sister, maybe...); but basically, & most importantly, I don't know how to stop properly. However, I did manage to learn how to do the T-Stop, except for me it's more of a T-Slowdown...

So to continue, when David and Mark bladed back, the rest of us continued along the seawall. Oh yeah, everyone was blading except Nancy and Alan, 'cause they took bikes instead (I'm assuming 'cause they're not good, heheh...oh yeah, and Alan used my old SaltSpringIsland-Trip bike, lol...important for later). So anyways, the four of us continue onwards along the seawall, then we decided to take a break near the lookout part of a dock, near the aquabus to Granville Island. Well, I decided to wander there and everybody followed, hehe...anyways, the reason why I wandered there was because I saw sea kayakers. SEA KAYAKS ARE AWESOME!!! I swear, it's definately on my list of things to buy. So I gazed at those kayaks for a bit, then we all decided to continue on, still waiting for the guys to come back.

So we continue onwards, and onwards, and onwards, until we end up on english bay. Since I skipped breakfast, and seeing that it was nearly noon, I decided to buy a jumbo hotdog and a water. MMMMMM, that was good! And as I finished eating, David and Mark finally cought up with us. So we continue along until we hit stanley park, or to be more precise, the restaurant thing that's right there. Of course, as fate would have it, everyone decides to have lunch! Haha...but seeing that my hotdog was huge and only $2.75, and everything else was super expensive, I didn't mind. I ended up buying a popsicle. Of course, everone else decides to get one as well, hehe...

Anyways, by this time it was already almost 1, so we just hang around for a while, playing on the playground/gymnastic stuff near there..."David, do the T on the rings! C'mon, you can do it!" Heheh...well, by this time it was already past 1pm, and seeing that Nancy's parking was expired at 2:30, and that Charissa had to work at 4, Nancy and my sister decided to leave the group and blade back to science world. As it turns out, as I learned later, that they bladed back quite quickly and were at science world at 1:50, so they went to tinseltown and bought slurpees before heading home, lol...

So now the group is down to just David, Alan, Mark, and myself. So after some more gymnasticizings on the playground, we decide to head off to the rest of the seawall in stanley park. And man, was that ever something!

First off, Alan biking and pulling the bladers along is UBER AWESOME! Especially downhill, hahaha! ZZOOOOOOOOMM!!! However, seeing that I lack the necessary stopping skills, this was extremely exhilirating, but sometimes not in the most positive way, heh...

And speaking of hills, oh man were there ever a lot of 'em! Just plain rediculous! I slowed the group down quite a bit, but I'm glad they did wait around for me too! Heheh...So anyways, one hill of mention would be this emergency-vehicle super steep hill that I foolishly followed David up onto..I'm talking at least a 30% gradient here! (well, so it seemed...) But anyways, with everyone zooming down at breakneck speed, I of course wimp out and go down the grassy part slow as heck. Then, about halfway down, I thought I'd be able to handle the hill, but like 2 seconds later and 25km/hrs faster, I freak out and curve off to the grass, tumbling over in the process! Haha, that was quite awesome, especially when people just thought I tripped up on the grass! Oh, and of note, this was the only time I fell! Hurrah!

Anyways, along the edge of the seawall, with the large rockfaces, we decide to take a break near the beach part. This break turned into a good 20min rest, with David going off and sitting on his rock, haha...after a while, Alan decided to join in the rock fun-ness, harassing David in the process...Mark and I continue to rest on the bench...this is of mention because the outdoorsiness of it all was too beautiful not to mention...

So now, a few hours and nearly 20km later, it was 4pm. Since Krystle got off work at this time, we decided (or she decided) to phone, and after quite a while of wondering and more than a few spatterings of "I don't know"s, we decided to just throw the disc around for a bit...therefore, we went back to english bay and threw the disc around on the beach there...oh, it was quite nice, up until David threw the disc right onto some female sunbather's ass! Haha, it was hilarious, perfectly landing square on the buttox! Haha...well, since nobody owned up to it, I apologized to her greatly, and she "suggested" that we play elsewhere...not wanting to argue with this uncommonly rude stranger, we decided to go throw the disc around in the middle of the wet sandy part, where the water flowed around this dune-like mass of wet sand (looked cool at the time). However, after about 15mins of chucking the disc around, we realized that there was just way too much muck and sand and junk sticking to the disc, thus throwing mud etc on us whenever we caught the disc. Therefore we left again, without fully knowing what to do...

After more thought and deliberations, including talks w/ Krystle on the phone, we decided to go to Granville Island. However, this was easier said than done...Do we take the aquabus thing? Nah, too easy...Do we go all the way around back to Science World then Granville Island? Nah, too boring...So what do we decide to do? BLADE OVER THE BURRARD BRIDGE, OF COURSE!!!

Let me remind you all once again, I lack any of the proper stopping skills, and I'm not the fastest blader around. In fact, since we just did the entire stanley park seawall, I was pretty much pooped. The bridge was one giant uphill, followed by one giant downhill. Needless to say, I was quite hesitant...but that level-headedness quickly faded, and thusly I complied with the group...I shall go over the bridge!

So the uphill was quite the challenge. In fact, everyone of course had to wait at the peak for me there. I must say, blading unconfidently hundreds of feet in the air next to 80 km/h traffic was quite the nerve-shaker. However, uphill wasn't so bad 'cause I was so slow and all...then there was the downhill, oh man! Everyone else zoomed down in an instant! I of course was afraid for my life, so I tried everything in my power to slow the heck down! It was then that I realized that I kinda knew how to do the drag break thingy, which was quite useful I must say...however, since I was terribly frightened, my speed was right at snails pace, making it quite tedious to get down the bridge. Basically, I was scared as hell and bored as well, hahah...

So now it's about 5pm. We take the planetarium route to Granville island, cutting through these townhome continuations of the seawall and what not. When we got there, we thusly found the first sitting spot and removed our blades for the comfort of our shoes. It was the first time in 7 hours that we took off our blades! It was only then that I realized a crapload of time has just went by...7 hours of blading, man...

Oh, and also, my ankles were BURNING! I think I wore the wrong socks or something, because they made a huge imprint that stayed on for hours on my ankles and they were all red as heck. Oh wait, I did remove my blades at that resting spot on the seawall, it was red then too, haha...anyways, enough of my sufferings, onto the foodings!

We phone up Krystle once again, seeing what we all wanted to do, and we decided that we're just gonna eat w/ Krystle later on...therefore, ice cream time! Well, Alan and Mark decided to get ice cream, and David decided to just "stroke his $20 bill", lol! Anyways, I decided to have myself a $5 smoothy...and oh man, was it ever worth it! It was a cranberry-strawberry with orange juice smoothy, and wow did it ever hit the spot! It was so sour-but-sweetly delicious, and was exactly what I was wanting...definately worth $5!

Anyways, after this deliciousness we all went to the toy place (kid's wonderland? don't remember...), well, cause I wanted to play the arcades, haha! Man, did I ever have fun! Everyone else could've been bored, I wouldn't have known, it was just too much fun! Quarter games for tickets, hahaha...it was nearly closing, so I didn't get too many tickets, I think 12 in all, and that cute attendant person at the counter let me choose a 15 ticket toy! Sweetness! I ended up decided to get a bug ring, a cool one of a red dragonfly with green wings...it's so awesome! Well, it's kinda dinky, but to me it was a reminder of the awesome day I was having...

Well, since it was 6, Mark had to get going, so he broke off from the group and went home...the rest of us decided that it was enough activity for now and to meet up w/ krystle, therefore needing to go to David's place to get the car. Therefore, we caught the bus to waterfront station, taking the skytrain to near his place. Oh, if it were only that simple...

We took bus #50 Waterfront Station, but we realized that it also stopped at Granville station, so we decided to get off there...unfortnately for us, we were still lugging around my bike that Alan was using, and even more unfortunately for us, there's no bikes allowed on that station! BaZING! So we walked back up to the street and deliberated just walking to waterfront station. Seeing that we didn't know how far it was, nor the exact route to get there, (as well as David's "it's 3 skytrain stations away!" argument), we decided to just catch the next bus going to Waterfront Station, which so happened to be the same bus we were on...well, there were others, but they lacked a bike rack, thus having us to wait 20mins for the same bus, heh...needless to say, it was only a 3min busride down to waterfront, realizing that we could've just walked there easily, haha...oh well...

So anyways, we get to waterfront station, and take the skytrain back to his place...me taking the skytrain is like someone checking me out, i.e. rare as heck. As with my previous analogy, I enjoyed this rarity quite profusely. Oh, and also of note, these people there were talking, and they said it was already 7pm...I mean from 10am to 7pm, it's already quite the long day! Then I realized something...wow, 7pm and it was still uber sunny...man, I love summer, even if it's not technically! Hurrah!

Well we get off at nanaimo station, take a bus to near David's place, then walk there...again, all this while lugging around my bike, heheh...we don't stay for long, leaving before 7:30 to pick up Krystle (and thus ditching the bike at Davids, finally!). After we pick Krystle up, we try to decide on where to eat...the previous suggestion (stemming from Alan's sarcastically ludacris "instant noodles" suggestion) was to have Pho. Mmmmm, pho...but nobody seemed to like my suggestion, so no pho. However, the next most obvious choice would be good ol' White Spot, that never fails for eatery, haha...so David gets a Turkey dinner, and Krystle gets a burger, while I decide to get my good ol' Monty Mushroom burger with mashed potatoes, mmmmm, and of course Alan just had to get the same thing, haha...my choice of food selection is so good that someone else always gets the same thing, right Krystle? Haha! Well, Alan having a humongeous plate of fries for lunch MIGHT have something to do with it as well, haha...Anyways, food was good, but from glancing outside from 8-9pm, it got progressively darker...but we still wanted to activitize some more, a la hockey style, so we headed out into the twilight...

So Krystle, Alan, David, and myself were driving around for a place to play some hockey. Krystle had the suggestion that we go to Fraser River Park on SW marine dr, but since, when we got there, it was already past 9pm and quite dark, there was no hockey playing at the park...however, we did walk along the boardwalk/floating-walkways/docks, which was quite a site to see in the twilight...

Anyways, we still wanted to play hockey before it was too late (since it was already 9:30), so we settled for going to the School near Krystle's place like last time. Heh, roller hockey be fun, but me lacking blading skills once again...anyways, it wasn't really hockey being played, more like shooting the balls into these railings for about 45mins, which I must say was quite fun...even the part where krystle slashed me up good didn't even phase me! Haha, she was lining up for her shot, then WHAM right on my hand! Everyone said it was a really hard slash, but it really didn't hurt at all...it more felt weird than anything else, not painful per se...well, now my finger is a little red and starting to swell slightly, but still isn't painful (hence the long typing non-botheredness, haha...)

Anyways, at 10:30 we drove krystle home, and the rest of us went to David's place. Well, at this time my sister got off at work and was coming to pick me up. When she got there, she kinda didn't really wanna go home just yet, so we go back into David's place and all 4 of us end up watching Beauty and the Beast, hahaha...although that movie is quite good, it didn't seem to be as invigoratingly spectacular as when viewed a decade ago...oh well, it was still awesome! Anyways, after the movie, we stuck the bike into the trunk (which was quite the hassle, putting down the backseats and whatnot) and I drove home. By the time we get home, it's practically already 1:30am...so from about 9am to 1:30am, my day has been jam packed with funfilled awesomeness...HURRAH! This is beginning to be the start of quite an amazing summer...alls I need now is a job, my health, and a girlfriend and there ya go! Heheh...

Man, I just spent the past 2 hrs documenting this awesome day...bah, reliving it all is nearly as great as actually doing it...well, almost, I guess...uh, maybe not, but bah it's my excuse for wasting 2 hours, haha!

Oh yes, pictures to come! Unless I get lazy, which is probably the case...heheh...in any case, today has got to be the BESTEST LONGEST DAY EVER!!! Hurrah!

Fun Fun Fun...

Yesterday was AWESOME! It was the epitomy of what I want my summer to be like...woke up at 11, played video games for an hour or so, played soccer, ate turkey dinner, then watched 2 movies w/ my uncle!

Insert "went to work", and I'll be set!

And man, soccer was awesome...actually being outside and doing stuff in the summer RULES! Heheh, rules...seems so old. Anyways, playing for two hours straight might have been a little much, since I haven't done anything for months (short of 20mins of rollerblading), so I did become quite sore afterwards...plus, skipping breakfast before playing and eating a humongeous dinner afterwards didn't quite help either. But I think the worst part was that I didn't go to sleep early enough, esp. with the watching 4 hrs of not-so-great movies, headache in them both, etc...and let me just say that I don't see why Sideways got so much acclaim, I mean it had it's moments but it wasn't terribly uproarious...to me, it's the older-adult version of a teen sex comedy...but I digress...the point I was trying to make is that either my allergies have been kicked up a notch or I caught a cold, either way I'm feeling fairly ill...

Now today, I've just been wasting my time away, fiddling with my horrible resume, and realizing that today might not be the best time to hand in my resume, with my plugged up nasal passeges and what not...just seems like today isn't turning out as great as yestereday...

And just now I had a big fight with my dad...ug.

He wanted to return videos to the library, ones that I wanted to watch myself, and since I'm heading out that way later today anyways I didn't see a problem with me watching them now then returning them later, but as usual my dad "misinterprets" this thinking it's some sort of "power struggle", so all I do is take the videos I might wanna watch and he makes a big scene, yelling in my face, waking up my mom, etc etc...once again I try to reason with him, asking why he's making such a big deal about returning videos a few hours later, why he's yelling in my face, etc...but that didn't seem to work, as usual. So my mom comes downstairs and explains the side of reason to my dad, as usual, and he (after a while, after I left the room w/ the videos) gives up. It seems that the more this happens, the less impassioned I become...

You know, today does really seem to suck ass. And after such an awesome day, no doubt. Strange how this always seems to happen...hopefully this isn't a depression after my mania, 'cause that'd just break my whole damned spirit...

So I shall leave this avenue of expression to watch my harry potter, since I seem to be worn out...besides, my resume doesn't even seem to wanna print out properly, thoroughly ticking me off at the moment...stupid everything...

[Edit, 8:20pm - Well then, it's been a pretty nondescript day since then, kinda doing nothing all afternoon...with the harry potter, and nba/mythbusters/rookie of the year, watching, I was pretty much glued to the couch all afternoon...and lo and behold, I turned out to be right and my dad was trying to be all chummy, which was thoroughly annoying..."oh, you were right, the videos were due tomorrow...hey, I got you a book on blah blah blah..." Anyone's who's talked to my dad for more than a minute can relate...but that's all for now, time to game it up...]

Ug...

I just realized how grotesquely out of shape I've become over the past year...

There was once a time when I worked out 3+ times a week, built up muscle, and leaned up a bit...surprising how a summer of complacency and a schoolyear of physical underachievement could have undone such effort...

Went to a church party tonight, and it was there that I realized how out of place I seemed...everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was freakin' good looking! And this isn't just some flippant I-want-a-girlfriend kinda thing either...and there I was, standing out like a sore thumb (at least in my mind), with my oversized gullet and overall thickness, my 70's style I-don't-wanna-get-a haircut, and my cut up lip from shaving...I really felt like everyone was at least two leagues above me...

Strange thing though, I didn't really feel too badly about it...could've been because I was having such a good time, but I'll put my money on because I knew I could actually do something about it...therefore, as of this moment, no more snacking for no reason, no more second helpings, no more extra desserts, and (most importantly) EXERCISING!!!

Therefore, tomorrow I shall do some physical activity! At first I thought I'd spend the morning swimming, but then I had a chat w/ Jamieson and thusly I was invited to soccer...therefore, no point in tiring myself out before playing and making an even-greater fool of myself!

So there ya have it...the beginnings of motivation! Then again, I still haven't wrote up my resume, nor started to clean out the garage, etc...but baby steps! Start with something reasonably simple, like getting into shape! Haha...

Maybe I'll try my glass of milk for breakfast / hot dog weiner for lunch / small dinner diet that I did all those summers ago, focus my attention on other things and what not, heheh...naw, don't wanna get anorexic, it's so unbecoming of a male...

Well then, enough of this ramblings, it's 2:30 in the morning, saturday night, don't wanna waste my tomorrow sleeping 'til the afternoon...

...May 23rd, Fire Emblem - The Sacred Stones, fairly intriguing prospect, yet utterly destructive to any sort of positive motivation...'tis all.

Until next time, I guess...

Finally able to get on the comp!!!

Man, I've wanted to get on the comp for the past 2 and a half days! That's just rediculous! First my sister had to study all day, needing the computer because she didn't want to print out her stinkin' answers and what not, and after that my dad hogged the computer, saying he had to "fix" it, which means pile a whole bunch of crappy programs that'll just take up space and memory...no idea how he thinks running 15+ extra programs would make it run faster...

Anyways, enough of this rediculous ranting, I'M DONE MY FINALS!!! YEAHHHH!!!

Well, to tell you guys the truth, I still don't feel terribly enthusiastic about finals ending...yeah, strange, I know...I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'd say it's probably because of my potentially leaving kwantlen, I'll certainly miss it...but then again, I've kinda felt like this the past few years...then again, last year I left BCIT, and the year before that I was still fairly depressed about everything...but whatever, FINALS ARE OVAAA!!!!

So what have I been doing, you ask? Well, wednesday I did nothing but sit around watching tv hoping for my sis to get off, and eat...cooked rack of lamb, kinda (it was fried in a pan...don't ask), so it wasn't terribly boring...however, not wanting to go out on such a nice day did seem fairly depressing to me...which is why I did not hesitate when my sister asked if I wanted to go rollerblading today! Hurrah! We went with David and his friend, to 5 rd cambie park...it was then that we realized that there's not too many places to rollerblade in richmond, at least not compared to stanley park, beaches, etc...but anyways, after about an hour or so, we decided to head to steveston (a la driving), so we walked around there and ate at Pajos, which I must say is quite nice, except for the rediculous amount of fries they give you! You think it's mostly gone, but then there's like half a cone left! Haha...but anyways, around 4-5 we drove my sis to work and I dropped the guys at the bus stop (they live in vancouver). Offered to drive them, since I needed to be in vancouver at 7 anyways, but they wanted to get home and sleep (early exam). So after that, I had a couple hours to kill, so of course I go to Kwantlen, foos it up w/ mohsin and whoever else had the night exam...well, nobody was there, so I sat in the comp for about an hour, on HOMMV forums and sports etc., then as I was walking back to my car, I catch Mohsin and Jined in the parking lot! So I asked if they wanted to foos it up, and they concurred! Haha...with only an hour 'til testing time, we played for a while, until 6:30, then Moe left to "meditate" for the test (whatever that means, heheh...), then after about 5 mins I decided to leave as well...so I get to vancouver, nothing good on the radio, waited for my mom for about 20 mins, come home, shower, eat, wait forever to get on the comp, and here I am!

Dang, that was boring...

Anyways, I'm off to do my resume, hopefully I don't become a bum again and actually WORK, heheh...

Oh yeah!! MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP SOON!!! It's on May 9th, so I'm having my party on the next Sunday, May 15th, at my place, sometime in the afternoon, barbecue (or grilling, whatever)...well, I'll probably send an e-vite fairly soon, so if you don't seem to be getting one, then contact me and start yelling! Haha...

So as I go, I leave you with a quick test thingy I did from Kris' blog, hahaha...

My goodness...

I've got about 20 minutes 'til my next test, and I haven't properly studied yet...

But I've gotten antsy, realizing that this mark isn't terribly important in the long run...stupid strong type B personality...

That's about it...should really get studying now, or something...and yet I continue to type...

...I wanna actually do something in the summer instead of wasting it like I always end up doing. This thought has been in my head all day...it's so nice out, don't wanna be here...

Well, at least it's not like BCIT where there's still another month of school left to go...

Enough typing, gotta study...

Sleep now?

Well, I was about to go to sleep, but I suddenly felt the urge to blog about my day...hopefully this'll be short, yadda yadda and the like...

Today was quite a nice day, if I say so myself. Started off not too great, though, since my phone alarm didn't go off again...although I only missed about a verse up front in church today, not too bad...heh...Anyways, afterwards we had our youth thingy, goood curry dish served there...then after that I drove my sister to UBC 'cause she had to do a test today...but here is really where my interesting day really started for me!

Well, since I was already on my way to UBC, I gave Alan a ride to his dorm too...then, I had a couple hours to kill, so Alan invited me to his dorm complex activity room thingy and we played ourselves some table tennis! Man, it's been forever since I've played that...ah, memories of elemtary school, going over to Donald's house, good memories...still fairly mediocre though, with ping pong balls flying all over the place and what not! But man, was that ever FUN! Too bad there wasn't a foosball table, eh? Heheh...oh, but there was a pool table, but someone was on it when we first came in, and we were already in the middle of playing table tennis when they left...

Anyways, after half an hour later (the max. time for the free parking), I still had quite a lot of time to kill, so I decided to just drive around, try to scout my way around UBC for a bit...well, in a matter of minutes, I found myself going down this cool road somewheres, and I ended up at the beach! Talk about lucky, wasted gas down to a minimum! Haha! Oh, I also passed by some people playing ultimate...oh man, do I ever miss playing that! Not to digress...

So I decided to plant myself down on the beach, decided I might as well take a walk...well, as I was too lazy to find a proper path from the parking lot, I decided to walk across the nice green grass...which have unfortunately been mucked up due to the rain! Man, it was so muddy, and me with my nice clothes and shoes! Haha!!

When I actually came to the path, I just started wandering up and down the path, enjoying the scenery and what not...decided to peer out into the water, and what did I see? A kayak! A freaking SEA KAYAK! Oh man, that brought back old memories of Strathcona! Grade 10 was such an awesome year for me, what with the beautiful sunny Strathcona, to the actual integration into a group (hurrah Big 2!), to my going to Europe for 2 weeks, then coming back to the week of strike thus letting me have my missed spring break...but now that's definately digressing...

Anyways, the walk was quite nice, spent over an hour just wandering around, admiring everything, realizing that I've wasted my summers, if not my life, by not going outdoors enough...but man, everything was so nice! Greens and trees on one side, oceanic waters and mountains on another, then the wonderful view of the city...it was just amazing! It so made me wanna have my own car, just to be able to drive to places like these more often and not feel cramped...which then made me realize that once I have my bus pass (i.e. hopefully from UBC etc) I could probably do the same if so motivated...which also then made me realize that a good bike could also do the job...which then made me realize that I should learn how to rollerblade, since I actually have those in my posession at the moment...ah, such realizations and what not...

Anyways, after that awesomeness, I picked up my sis (after getting lost in UBC for about 2o mins, haha...), then proceeded to drive home...however, because I was still kinda on my outdoors-high, I didn't really wanna go home too quickly, so I took the longer route, down Granville and 2 road bridge, then down trafficy westminster hwy, just to prolong my getting home...needless to say, my sister (remember, coming out from an exam), was reasonably pissed...but oh well, it was all good in the end...

Well, except that when I got home I sat my ass down on the couch for nearly 5 hours, with sports and movies and what not...but finally watched Super Size Me, which was fairly cool if I say so myself...somewhat biased, but oh well, interesting nonetheless...especially the bit tacked on in the end saying how 6 weeks after the movie was shown at Sundance, McDonalds removed their Super Size option, heheh...

Anyways, I should go to sleep now, it being 2am again and with my having to wake up early so Rob and Cindy'll pick me up at 9am...but one more thing I've gots ta say...

I caught a bit of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and I must say I really REALLY like that movie...waaay too much similarities to myself.

And another movie I caught a bit of tonight, Ginger Snaps II, is another movie I really REALLY like, even if I have yet to see the first 15-30 mins...but it made me think, what do I really like about this movie? Is it the kickass plotline? Is it the freakishly amazing twisted ending? Is it the great dialogue and amazing acting for the leading ladies? Or perhaps it was the fact that I found the leading ladies to be so droolworthy that I couldn't help but love the movie?! Well, it's definately all of the above, but it's also definately the latter as well...and considering yesterday's dilemma, it really made me wonder if I really am that touched in the head...I mean, I found Ghost (i.e. Tatiana Maslany) to be UBER cute, and I mean super droolworthy...and lets just say that this actress, although 19, just played a 12 year old on tv...this kinda got me worried. But then I realized that I didn't really start beginning to oggle her until after she was driving the station wagon...I realized in my head, "oh hey, she's old enough to drive...woooooow, she's so friggin' hot!"

Or maybe I really am just messed in the head...oh well.

Until next time, I guess...

Hmmm...?

Stupid Krystle with the putting ideas into my head! Now tonight at practice I couldn't help but wonder if there was something more when she casually glanced over at me...which, I must admit, isn't normally a bad thing to think, but she's frickin' THIRTEEN!! That's just not right! Soooo bad, especially when I found that she seemed cuter than normal....uggg, I feel so dirty...

But oh well, driving home tonight I heard this amazing song on Praise, "Traveling Light" by Joel Hanson & Sara Groves...just amazing! Took a while to download it, but it was worth the wait...what u say, wrong to download music? I say that downloading christian music is perfectly acceptible, since it's "Spreading the Word of God" and what not...overpriced christian music just seems so wrong to me, cd's shouldn't be more than $5...not to digress or anything...

Oh, and as a reminder to myself...I gotta do my own Musicologial histories, Reuben-style and what not...great idea man! Glad me and Shar helped you with your wanting to document!

Hmmm, now to thing about some new end tags...oh, uh, signatures, or something...whatever online catchphrase fits...

Nitsuuuuuuj, out!
See y'all laters!
End of the Painful Boredom...
Go home. Nothing to see here. Leave.
So you may think that this is the end...well it is!
->(Haha, shades of old berenstein bears cartoon show here! Mama Papa Sister Brother, we appreciate each other! HAHA!!!)

Well then, they all suck...and I seemed to go off on a tangent once again...therefore,

Until next time, I guess...

Stupid me!

It seems that it was just another wasted day...and the sad part is, I was actually trying to do something for once!

Woke up some time after 1pm, wanting to do my hw, but my sis was using the comp for her own academic endeavors, so I instead proceeded to watch the Masters (this being the first time I've ever sat down to watch any golfing event). And man, what a Masters it was! I was there, watching the birdie putt on 17th, simply amazing!! "Oh man, that was so off! Oh wait, it's rolling towards the hole! Oh man, it's gonna go in!! Awww, it stopped, and it was so - WHOOOAAAA!!! IT WENT IN!!! THAT WAS FRICKIN' AMAZING!!!" Haha, anyone who watched it knows what I'm talkin' about!

Anyways, after this, I ended up taking a shower (to wake me up), eat, guitar it up (to relax a bit), then went to the comp to start my paper. Unfortunately, it seemed like I would have to do my research all over again, seeing that my article that I chose at 4am the earlier morning didn't seem to suffice! That was kinda heartbreaking! So trudging along, I spent the next 3 or so hours re-researching, trying to find an article to disagree & write my paper on...included in this is my hour+ of forum surfing about HOMMV...stupid me! Anyways, long story short, after printing out this interview, I realized that my first choice was actually quite good! Meaning this: I wasted 3 whole hours researching only to fall back on my earlier choice! That was even more heartbreaking!

But anyways, I toughed it out, and moved on! Well...not exactly, I guess...It was about 10pm at this point, and I decided to go eat supper, the actual supper my mom made and not just leftover chinese food. Man, was it ever good! Puchero (or something), mmmmm! Anyways, was watching Alton Brown (a.k.a. Good Eats), then ate a slice of apple pie, watched more sports and cooking shows...oh yes, at this time my mom was wanting to use the comp, so I let her...so anyways, I was all done, but unfortunately I was stuck in front of the tube, waiting for my mom to get off! So, around 11ish, she finally came off, but of couse my sister then walks through the door wanting to use the comp herself! Of course, being the nice brother that I am (and the fact that I hogged the comp yesterday, and that I was already glued to the couch), I let her on the comp. Anyways, a few sports highlights / southern BBQ show / trailer park boys later, she finally came off the comp (it now being midnight).

Well, that was my cue to actually start working...and lo and behold, I actually did! I basically found what I wanted to write my paper about (i.e. exactly what), and that took about 45mins...well, at this time, I realized that if I didn't brush my teeth now, I probably wouldn't, so I got off the comp and proceeded to go into the upstairs bathroom...however, the bathroom was unfortunately occupied, thus leaving me to wait and bide my time...of course, this was a good a reason as any to guitar it up! And man, the Barenaked Ladies are awesome! Anyways, after a bit of that, I brushed my teeth and what not (with "what not" including the ol' flexing-of-the-muscles-in-front-of-the-mirror bit, heheh...). So, it now being about 1:15ish, I finally came back to the comp and started working on my paper!

Well, after writing the opening paragraph, I realized that this paper didn't seem so daunting anymore, thus making me not wanna do it! Haha...anyways, that was my cue to start up this blogpost, and 20 minutes later here I am writing away!

Well, it's now quarter to 2am, and I still have to finish my paper and what not...1200 words, about 8 pages? Not too bad...hopefully I'll be able to finish it off soon enough, get some sleep, and wake up with enough time to study for my psych test, heheh...

Here's to me finishing my work sooner than later!

Until next time...

--> As told through the mind of an introverted extrovert.

[p.s. - I was thinking, and I realized that this ending thing here makes writing edits more contrasting and easily recognizeable, and I'm assuming that I'll probably edit my way through the night, as usual, hehe...oh yes, and WOOHOO!!! LAST PAPER OF THE SEMESTER!!! LAST ENGLISH CLASS I'LL EVER NEED TO TAKE!!! WOOHOO!!!]

[Edit, 3:30am - Oh man, this paper is coming along better than I expected! I'm on a frickin' roll here! Man, how I love to argue, hahaha!!! Hopefully I can be finished before 8, then I'd be able to get 4 or 5 hours of sleep, and still have plenty of time to study! AWESOMENESSNESS!!!]

[Edit, 7:12am - Well, I'm done! Hurrah and such! Anyways, I was done at around 6ish, then I spent half an hour going over everything (I know, I never take the time to do this!). Then I realized that I still have to read The Rez Sisters, a play that 50% of my final is going to be based on...tried unsuccessfully to find an online summary, therefore I'm going to have to hunker down and actually read the play...but oh well! Time for sleepage! Or maybe some heroes, perhaps?? Muwahaha!!! Heh...but really, if I sleep from 8-1, that's like 5 hours, and I still have about 2 hours of straight studying for psych, that's more than enough! Hmmm, enough time to read The Rez Sisters?? Yeah!!! Hooray, time for Heroes!!!]

Awesomeness, indeed!

Wow, today was quite amazing...but starting from the top...(or just skip over the boring chronological stuff, heheh...)

Well, was late (as usual) for church, except today was especially rushed, since nobody bothered to wake me up until 10:40!! Rediculously late, especially considering that my church is in vancouver, and starts slightly after 11, and I'm on the worship team! But, surprisingly, I wasn't terribly late...whoa, what am I saying, I missed like 2 songs, I WAS terribly late! Not good, not good...but oh well, lets not put a damper on my amazing evening...I'll just get more sleep next week and wake up earlier! Oh yes, and "Breathe" is especially moving with the chimes going in the chorus..."And I (chimes) 'm /desperate for you.... / And I (chimes) 'm / lost without you..." . Just thought I'd mention it...

Anyways, hen I got home, I kinda just lazed about, eating whatever I could find and what not...then I guitar'd it up for a while, I'd say about an hour...then, amazingly, I actually went and took a nap! And what a nap it was, slept from 4-6! Was quite rested after that one, I must say...

Wel, I guess the reason why I lazed about was because I was waiting for the phonecall from David to go help in the New Start church downtown (i.e. helping pack sandwiches, giving out, etc etc), but then he never phoned! Didn't wanna phone him, 'cause I didn't know when that service ended...bad for phone to ring in the middle of church, really embarassing...but anyways, the point of all this is that I was awakened from my nap by my sister yelling at me that David was on the phone, asking if we were still on for rollerblading! I realized then that the window for volunteering has come and gone...but man, I was so in for rollerblading!

However, I was kinda rushed leaving, 'cause my little sister had to x-ray her mouth for braces, and it was at freakin' 6:45pm! And we had to first pick her up from my cousins on 6 rd., then go to vancouver on victoria! So my parents were practically already outside the door with me still on the phone trying to figure out where we're going to blade! But I quickly told them to just phone my cell when we figured out what's going on...

Anyways, now in vancouver, about 6:45, I phoned him back, and apparently they decided to just go to Krystle's house, cause she wasn't allowed to go farther than a block or so from her house...oh, "they" being David and Alan, btw...anyways, so I ended up going to Krystle's place (in south-east vancouver), and unfortunately I was kinda early, and had to wait for the guys for quite a while! But I did end up mooching some dinner there, so it's all good, hehe...

AND NOW FOR THE WHOLE REASON FOR BLOGGING INSTEAD OF DOING MY HOMEWORK!!!

So when they finally came, it was already quarter past 7pm, and the sun was setting quite rapidly, or so it seemed...but that's alright, no reason to stop our rollerblading excursion! Krystle, David, Alan, and I first went out blading to 57th to Krystle's cousins to get a basketball, and man is it ever hilly in south vancouver! That, coupled with my lack of rollerblading skills, it was quite an experience! Uphill was quite nice though, even if I did get slightly tired near the end there...6 block uphill is quite gruelling when you haven't been active for 3 months!

But, oh man, going downhill lacking blading skills, that's just FREAKY! So many times I was just going waay to crazy fast, and so many times David and Alan had to stop me! Haha, I looked like such a dork, but it was kinda fun losing control like that! Well, until the last one, where I was zooming down the alleyway, almost going into the street, but at the last second David managed to grab my arm and we spun around crazily etc! Haha, that was the only time I was actually afraid I completely lost control, but man was it ever a rush!

Note: LEARN HOW TO STOP, DANGIT!!!

Anyways, after we got the b-ball, we went to Trudeau (or something, the school by Krystle's place) and played some b-ball...actually, we decided to play 21 at first, and man am I ever rusty! Well, not that I was every that shiny to begin with, but I was completely missing the backboard! I mean like throwing the ball over it and everything! Anyways, after 21 we played HORSE, and man that brought back memories! Actual good memories of my childhood for once, with playing basketball in the rain outside of sidaway, playing horse at Shane's house, etc etc...nostalgia city, indeed! Playing through the sunset tonight was quite amazing, too...

And to add to this great day, we also found a small soccer ball in the field, and we starting playing soccer in the dark! Haha, that was quite great, especially when David tripped Krystle face first into the mud!! LOL!!! Accident, suuuure, hehe...Anyways, that was quite fun, being goalie is great, and actually scoring some decent goals brought me further back into my memories of playing soccer at ferris, and in grade 4...man, that was good times! Plus, when we decided to pack it in, playing kick-the-ball-between-the-railings at the school with Alan was quite fun too...and that pretty much wrapped up my evening, seeing that it was already 9:30 and dark out...

But man, tonight was AWESOME!! I mean, what the hell am I doing with my life staying indoors for the past decade of summers??? WHAT THE HECK!!! But man, going out with friends, being active, nice outside...that's just so amazing, I can't find the words to describe it! So I'll just leave off here, ending my post with the realization that friends are awesome, being active is awesome, and summer is awesome; but only if utilized...

Until next time, I guess...

--> As told through the mind of an introverted extrovert.

[p.s. - I'm kinda getting tired writing these endings all the time...maybe I'll stop soon...]

NUTS!!!

Well then, I haven't blogged in quites a while (or so it seems like for me)...I kinda wanted to, but I've found that within the last few weeks I've fallen back into my videogame playing mode...i.e. playing hours upon hours of pointless gameplaying instead of doing some much needed homework/exercize/study/you-name-it!!!

To sum up, I've become a lazy bum! However, at least now when playing videogames I feel somewhat integrated w/ others!

Anyways, a few other things to note:

1) Phil 1110, Ethics class, is FRICKIN' AMAZING!!! This is definately by far my most favourite class ever, and I say this because of the great discussions in the class...marks wise, I'm not terrible awesome, but it don't matter! This class is what all college classes should be like! A definite must to take for anyone!

2) Man, homework is freakin' ass piling up!! It's unfreaking believable! First off, I've gots ta write a freakin' important paper for english that I've been putting off for weeks now, plus I've gotta read an entire freakin' play, plus I've gotta study for my Psych test, which is all due on MONDAY!!! And what do I end up doing?? Playing freakin hours upon hours of Civ III, Heroes II and III, Serious Sam 2nd E...

3) My test schedule SUCKS ASS!!! I mean, sure, I don't have exams until thursday (math), but then I have a 3-6pm test on monday (engl.), then I have a freaking text the next day at 8am (econ), and then later that day I have a test at 7pm! (phil). Three exams in 2 days...that's just crap! It's like I'm back in BCIT or something!!

4) Again with the lacking of sleepage, that's coming with the increased gaming, except this time on the week before finals...that's just horrible.........and then there's the summer, I can't just lie myself down for the summer like I've done for the past two...

5) Too much guitar playing and not enough callouses equals one sliced up thumb! Bandaid and everything too, lol...but w/ the bandaid, playing is able to commence! Hooray!! Songs of the moment? "My Redeemer Lives" and "Shoebox (of Lies)", man those songs are awesome!

Well that seems to be all! Probably missing something, but as it is quite late (at 1:45am), and I do have an 8am class to go to...hmmm, not 2am yet, therefore I gots a few mins to play, to wake up at 7am and still get 5 hrs...nuts, and so the game-induced insomnia begins...

Until next time, I guess...

Well This Seems Familiar...

It's about 1:30am, having to do a paper that is due tomorrow, worth 25%, incredibly tired, and had all weekend to do it...Ahhh, deja vu all over again...[just imagine "deja vu" with accents, too lazy to fiddle w/ the alt+####]

What's to blame this time for this lack of work-doing? Videogames...freakin' videogames!!! Again with the regression into simpler days, especially with my CivIII...I swear, I'm freaking addicted to that game, and that brief glancing of it at Moe's party started up the craving once again...I must've spent well over 10 hrs over the weekend playing it! And that's not including the "just one more turn" craziness that kept me playing from 2-7am...stupid everything...

Oh yes, and as a sidenote, Death of a Salesman is an amazing play...yous guys gotsta watch the one with Dustin Hoffman and John Malkovich...didn't see the ending, but got to watch until the climax...or one of the climaxes, at least...

But here I am, rambling once again...I'm off to actually do my hw...my stupid paper...stupid stupid stupid me, cause it's actually interesting, and it's only 1000 words max, and once again I left it to the last minute...I'm worried that I'll be so last minute that I'm gonna skip my other classes just to do it, 'cause I'd wanna sleep, or do other equally idiotic behaviours...

Nuts...rambling...

Until next time, I guess...[which would probably be my constant updates, as usual...]

--> As told through the mind of an introverted extrovert.

[Edit, 2:40am - About one hour later, and I've already gone through the expected ups and downs...ahh, the downs, with all its headsmashingly goodness...and the ups, with the realizations of how to complete my paper, thus awakening me from my headsmashing stupor...but enough of this, time to get down to business!]

[Edit, 6:25am - Well, I'm just about done my essay, and it was tougher than I expected, mainly because I wasn't as interested in the topic...actually, I'm very interested in the topic, but because I chose to go the easier rout, I'm writing a paper that goes against what I personally believe...actually not really...well, kinda confusing...

Personally I believe that homosexuality is morally wrong, but I don't believe that it's because it's unnatural...in my paper, I'm arguing that unnaturalness does not equal immorality. Could elaborate, but why...

Oh, and also, I finally downloaded Diodes - Tired of Waking Up Tired!!! Heard it like 5 yrs ago on CBC Radio 2/3/etc, old canadian progressive rock...I just loved it! Heheh...but no more, off to finish my paper! And perhaps go to school??]

[Edit, 7:17am - Done my paper...kinda tired, kinda blurred vision, kinda depressed because my paper is kinda cruddy...so just stick right by your buddy / and don't eat / t-t-t-t-too much fried fooooood, yeah!!! Aiieeeeooooooo, KILLER TOFU!!!! Eeeiiieee, Ooooeeeeeoooo, KILLER TOFFUUUUUUUU-UU-UUU!!! Heh, seems like I'm also kinda out of it...maybe I will just go to sleep, screw class...]

Complacency

Today has been an excercise in complacency...

Last night I was getting all psyched up because for the first time in a while I'd have time to go to the gym and swim...however, as it usually seems to do these days, this morning I forgoed my working out for playing a couple hours of CivIII, just because I was too freakin' lazy to get up and do it...

And what do I do for the rest of the day? Gourge myself on junk food, not the least of which that slice of cheesecake (my 4th in 5 days), as well as other miscellaneous unhealthy foodstuffs...I should probably note that my gravy intake today was probably somewhere near a litre...

Anyways, aside from my lack of proper dietary habits, today I have been firmly planted in front of the boob tube, with the watchings of two NBA games, 3hr ahead Simpsons, Iron Chef America, as well as an assortment of other less than memorable shows...

Oh yes, and I also watched Ginger Snaps II for probably the 4th or 5th time, and once again I failed to watch the first part...except in the other times I've seen it, I've missed half an hour, and today I only missed around 15 mins, so I caught a bit of what I've never seen before...but why am I rambling on about this movie?? Because I freakin' LOVED it! I don't even understand why I loved it so much, but I just thought this movie was awesome...my guess would be the two female "protagonists", I'm assuming their characters really struck a chord with me...

Anyways, I'm supposed to do a paper for Engl. and Phil. this weekend...of course, I have not yet done so (at 11:09pm sunday night)...it's a good thing that my engl. paper has been postponed 'til next week, very awesome...The problem I'm having right now is that my Phil paper is only 1000 words long, and due on tuesday, so I'm finding it hard to seize the motivation to start on it...but enough whining...

Bah, who am I kidding...whine, whine, whine...

Along with this whining, I'm freakin' TIRED!!! I guess my lack of doing anything today really brought down my energy level...and then there was the daylight savings, which really threw me off, with the being sunny at 8pm! And the stupid telus not updating their time 'til nighttime...

And plus with the friends wanting to rollerblade tomorrow but me having night classes, and with the serious sam freezing up my comp and what not, and the stupid me forgetting to patch the darned game...

And now I'm off to play some serious sam, hopefully my sis don't be too angry w/ my taking of the comp, heh...screw homework! for now... [heh, rushing at the end here!]

Until next time, I guess...
