Odd...

Seems like I've been blowing off many social events lately. I mean, there's the midnight bikeride, the sabbath hiking, and freakin' Jake's birthday just to name a few.

I think I'm turning into a hermit. A hermit with a girlfriend, I guess. Heheh. So that's nice.

Why am I being so antisocial? I've got several theories, beginning with my six courses, but none really fully grasp why I do this.

I mean, it's happened before. Switching elementary schools, ending highschool, ending BCIT, some kwantlen drifting (I don't even remember the last time I spoke to Shar, for example), and now, EVERYONE.

Perhaps I'm griping because I'm afraid I'll lose you guys just like I lost my BCIT friends. I mean, I hung out with them EVERYDAY and now I haven't spoken to them in years. Sad, really...

Or... OR... .....maybe I'm just procrastinating from the copious amounts of homework/studying I was supposed to finish for reading break. I've got 60 more pages of my psyc to finish, along with the accompanying quiz, plus my stupid weekly Phil/Logic homework, along with my frickin' Access project that's not only ridiculously boring but exceedingly difficult due to my lack of interest, and, and.... not to mention, my FREAKIN MIDTERM that I haven't studied for in the least yet.

I wanna move out of my place. There's no reason for me to pay top-dollar for thie craphole. Plus, it's so far away from everyone, despite being so close to UBC. ...by everyone, I mean Ruana, naturally. You know, what with my hermitism...

I kinda wanna move to Kerrisdale. Closer to everthing/everyone, nice area, cheaper than Kits, etc etc... I'll see what happens in the summer...

Barako Bomb! ...ahh.......?

I overheard my mom saying how Barak Obama has a horrible name, and was wondering why his parents would call him something so vulgar. She stated that "barako" is a derogatory term used to call someone a "wild giant." That got me curious...

I found out, after a good ol' trusty google search, that apparently (in Tagalog) "barako" is a wild boar. Close enough to wild giant, I guess. I also found out that it's also a term for Filipino coffee. Pretty cool.

So yeah, Barak Obama. Wouldn't be the first pig in the oval office...

Tonight I went online for the first time in ages, and was bombarded w/ convos. And by bombarded, I meant about 3 or 4. I don't think I've been online at all in January, that I can remember...

But I digress.

Internet is great. Blogging is too. IM? Sure, why not.

And now I can watch movies w/o having things jammed into my ear... and, more importantly, others can watch with me...

Soo... speakers are broken again... I mean, what the crap, annoying...

But yeah, oh well... I'm not about to send it in for a couple weeks just to get this fixed, esp. considering others who had the same problem said it happened again even after it went to the shop... oh well...

In other news, I've got a psyc midterm in about an hour, in which I have hardly studied for at all. As in, I just glanced at my lecture slides. I'm hoping that my memory holds up during this mainly MC test. I usually Ace MC tests. I'm not too worried. Maybe I should be. ...maybe I am, lol. I mean, I am rambling nonsensically on my blog... it kinda feels like old times, haha.
