Reuben: I found your comment disrespectful and inconsiderate. If you disagree with this assessment, tell me why and I will gladly reverse the deletion.
Honestly, Justin, I think it reflects badly onto yourself for deleting that comment. Personally I don't think what Reuben posted was all that offensive, but I do see why you might have thought so. I just think there are better ways of dealing with these things rather than via tyrannical methods like "comment-deletion".
Anonymous: I was obviously upset at the comment, and yet you put it back up. You obviously aren't a very good friend. And your lack of disclosing your identity just confirms this fact. Real mature.
Gautam: I'm pretty sure everyone already knew what he said, and if not by him then by Anonymous. The reason why I deleted was not so much to censor the message from others, but rather for me not wanting to read that again in the future. Yeah, I know this reflects badly on me, and I'll accept people thinking lesser of me for doing so. That being said, it's not like I'm the first person to delete a comment...
Bernard: As Gautam said, it wasn't terribly offensive, but it did upset me enough to delete it. And you could always ask Reuben if you missed both times it was up... this goes for all the other curious people also.
Firstly, I'd like to state that I wasn't the anonymous poster. I don't believe in anonymous posting -- never have.
Secondly, if you'd asked me to remove it, I most likely would have. I don't care if you've deleted it, I'm not going to argue that it wasn't tasteless; but really, when it comes down to it, I make tasteless comments on blogs all the time and it's not entirely out of character. That being said, I appologize for offending you. I didn't realize it would hit that hard considering I didn't know what the statement meant to begin with, it just sounded kinda dirty.
Secondly, I know you didn't mean any harm, so I don't really hold anything against you or whatever.
Thirdly, what upset me wasn't really what the comment said, but rather the fact that you weren't taking this concert seriously. This is a really big deal for not only me but for a lot of other people also, and that flippant remark was kind of like a slap in the face. That being said, as above, I know you didn't mean anything by it, so it's all good.

i'm trying to get those cards scanned.
Yeah! I tried scanning the cards, but they didn't come out very well... I think 'cause they're reflective...

Now that you've deleted the comment, I can't stop thinking what Reuben may have written...I'm betting it was sacrilegious.
Crazy sacrilegious Reuben! (and yes, I had to check the spelling of sacrilegious)

First off, thanks for the apology.

Regardless, I'll try and make it to the concert.
LOL, this string of comments is hilarious.
I shall also try to attend.
