I had completely forgotten about your blog, actually. I just read all the way back to the beginning of the month. Regarding the teaching bit: to be absolutely honest man, don't think about what others say. I, too, made some regrettable decisions, but I figured that teaching is a long-term thing and it's about 15-20 years down the line that you want to be thinking about. Sure if you do another 2 years of school, you'll be what? 27 when you finally become a sub? and let's take a conservative guess at when you become a teacher and let's say 30. 30 is not that old, my friend. If you work as an accountant for like 7 or 8 years and then realize, "holy shit, I want to commit suicide". If you then took the teaching route, it'd be a lot worse. If you're already having serious doubts, don't just stagnate and accept your fate; do what you have to do to ensure the next 20 years are worth it.

Hey Nits, you're a No Doubt fan, aren't you? I'm trying to get rid of 2 floor tickets. Interested?
